Ed & Eddie Reinhardt

Ed Reinhardt and his son Eddie share their journey of anguish, love and empowerment and show us how ordinary individuals can do extraordinary things. Eddie was a member of Coach Bill McCartney’s first recruiting class at the University of Colorado. He was 2nd leading pass receiver in the nation with a G.P.A. of 3.5, when he received a life changing brain injury during a football game. For 62 days, Eddie floated between life and death in a coma. His parents have assisted him in his rehabilitation for the past 20 years.
Ed and Eddie live in Littleton, Colorado and travel the U.S. sharing their encouraging story, which inspires listeners to dedicate more time building strong relationships with family and friends. Eddie developed his talent to sing and his songs delight any audience.
Ed Sr. talks about the importance of the influence of fathers in the family. His book, “You’re OK, Kid!” takes you through the trials of himself growing up without a father, then searching and finding him, only to struggle through their reconciliation, and just before his father’s death hear him say, “You’re OK, Kid,” words his name sake always needed to hear. This witness story is a must for all dads and their sons. Don’t miss it!
