Thank you for Accepting the Challenge on March 16, 2024. Now that our time together is complete you can go out and get involved in your communities! Here is a list of ministries and resources that you can explore to discern how you can be the man you are called to be.

SMALL GROUPS

Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882. Explore the Into the Breach video series or learn more about COR groups

Inferno is a new initiative in the Diocese of Lansing designed to set men's hearts on fire for the Lord and ignite a culture of evangelization.

Join a community that will help you open up to a vulnerable relationship with God, grow in the power to say “no” to the common things of the world, and have the essential support, encouragement, and mercy of other men striving after the same uncommon ideals."

That Man is You! This program addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. 

Explore how YOU can start a men's ministry in your parish that is built on the pillar's of worship, fellowship, service, and formation. 

MINISTRIES

Renewal Ministries offers several different programs to help you grow in your own faith, opportunities to serve on missions, and many other resources to "foster growth in holiness and evangelization with the power of the Holy Spirit for the salvation of souls".

FOCUS is centered on forming Catholic missionaries to go out and serve in parishes and on college campuses. Their mission is "To know Christ Jesus and fulfill His Great Commission".

Sidewalk Advocates for Life in Ann Arbor offers training sessions to "equip and support" individuals so that they can offer life-affirming alternatives to abortion. Their methods are rooted in loving and prayerful communication to reach a women's heart so that she can confidently choose life.

Friends of the Master is a ministry that supports "previously incarcerated persons though Christ-centered, Benedictine-inspired, transitional communities empowering successful reentry."

 WWME's programs enrich and transform the lives of married couples and priests. Offering a peer-to-peer experience, typically over a weekend, where married couples and priests can pause and reflect privately on the meaning of their vocations and are given the tools for nurturing their love. WWME's mission is to proclaim the value of marriage and holy orders in the Church and in the world.

A Catholic based sexual and pornography addiction recovery support. This in-person group is based on the 12 steps to recovery and Ignatian spirituality. Located at St. John the Baptist in Ypsilanti and St. Patrick in Brighton. If you need support or would like to start a group in your parish please reach out to hopeispurity@gmail.com.

Located at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Plymouth, Holy Family Parish in Novi, and Our Lady of the Lakes in Waterford. Formed is a Catholic content platform that hosts thousands of movies, children’s programs, eBooks, audio, parish programs and studies on demand to help parishes, families, and individuals to explore their faith anywhere.

CMLA is a movement that ignites, empowers, and equips men for outreach to other men. Supporting ministry to men through FREE coaching, resources, and events.

The EQUIP program offers online formation experiences through Sacred Heart Major Seminary. Includes a variety of free course offerings. 

Smart Catholics provides community, inspiring content, and interesting shows and courses to help you to understand "how to live the Catholic faith in the modern world, to experience greater personal joy, and be confident in sharing Christ with others."
